Hospital & Acute Care Operations

Hospital Patient Flow / Bed Management Coordinator

When an emergency department is ramped and ambulances are queued outside, this is the role making the real-time calls about which beds can safely open next, which patients can be discharged or transferred, and where the next bottleneck is about to form. It's high-pressure, constant-triage work sitting at the exact point where clinical need, staffing reality and system capacity collide — access block and ramping aren't abstract KPIs here, they're the daily job.
