By creating an account, posting a listing, or applying for a role on Care Career, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, which are incorporated by reference. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.
Care Career is a job marketplace for Australia's health and care sector. We provide the platform that connects job seekers and employers, including listing review, employer verification, and shift-matching tools.
We are not an employer, a recruitment agency, or a party to any employment relationship formed through the platform. Employers are solely responsible for their hiring decisions, employment terms, and compliance with the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), work health and safety law, and anti-discrimination law. Job seekers are solely responsible for the accuracy of what they tell an employer.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to work in Australia (for job seeker accounts) or legally authorised to act for an organisation (for employer accounts) to use Care Career.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your login details secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. One account per individual or organisation, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Every listing must include a real, current pay range — we don't accept "competitive salary" or equivalent. Listings must be for genuine, currently-open roles; using the platform to build a talent database with no intent to hire isn't permitted. You're responsible for the accuracy of your organisation's verification details, for complying with employment law in how you engage anyone hired through the platform, and for how you use applicant information — including not using it for any purpose beyond assessing that application.
You agree to provide accurate information in your profile and applications, including about qualifications, registrations, and credentials. Misrepresenting a credential — particularly one required for the role, such as a professional registration or a screening check — is a serious breach of these terms and may be reported to the relevant employer and, where the law requires, to the relevant authority.
Employers and listings go through a review process, described in full on our Trust & Safety page, before appearing on the platform. This review is a quality and integrity check — it is not a guarantee, warranty, or certification that any employer, listing, or job seeker is suitable, safe, or as described, and you should exercise your own judgement.
Beyond our Community Guidelines, you agree not to: scrape or harvest data from the platform; attempt to bypass the verification or review process; use the platform to send unsolicited communications; upload malicious code; or use another person's account without permission.
You retain ownership of the content you submit (listings, applications, profile information). By submitting it, you grant Care Career a licence to use, store, and display it as necessary to operate the platform and provide the service — for example, showing your listing to job seekers, or sending your application to an employer. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we're required to retain something by law.
The Care Career name, logo, and platform design are owned by Nurse Me (ABN 43 399 621 354) or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers that ownership to you.
Care Career is currently free for both job seekers and employers, as part of a founding-access period described on our pricing page. We may introduce fees for some or all users in future, with reasonable notice before any fee applies to your account.
We don't guarantee that any job seeker will be hired, that any employer will find a suitable candidate, or that any particular listing, applicant, or match score reflects a good fit. Match scores and other automated features (see our Privacy Policy, Section 8) are indicative tools, not recommendations or assessments of suitability.
The platform links to third-party sites — such as Fair Work Ombudsman, Ahpra, and the NDIS Commission — for your convenience. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, including as to availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified. Where our liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee can be limited, and it's fair and reasonable to do so, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied, at our election.
Subject to Section 15, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Care Career isn't liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from your use of the platform, including loss of income, loss of a job opportunity, or loss of an employment relationship — regardless of how that loss arises.
You agree to indemnify Care Career against claims, losses, or costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or content you submit — except to the extent caused by our own negligence or breach.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law, including posting misleading listings or misusing applicant data. You may close your account at any time; some information may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved directly. If it can't be resolved that way within a reasonable period, either party may pursue their available legal remedies.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, are the entire agreement between you and Care Career on this subject. We may update our contact and notice details from time to time as set out on this site.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept the update. For material changes, we'll aim to give reasonable advance notice.
