A job board is only as good as the people on it. These guidelines exist so that a verified badge, a real pay range, and a genuine application actually mean something — for whichever side of the marketplace you're on.
Post roles you're genuinely hiring for, with a pay range you'd actually offer. Using listings to build a candidate database with no intention of hiring breaks the trust that gets you a verified badge in the first place. Respond to applicants in reasonable time, and never make an unpaid trial shift a condition of applying — that's not what applying means.
Apply in good faith, to roles you're genuinely interested in. Keep your credentials and registration details accurate — an employer relies on what you tell them. And treat employers and their staff with the same respect you'd want walking into a shift.
Discriminatory language or requirements that aren't tied to a genuine occupational need. Misleading pay or job details. Harassment of any kind. Attempting to collect personal information outside the normal application flow. None of these are edge cases — they're the specific behaviours that make a job board unsafe to use.
We review every reported listing and account. A verified badge can be revoked, and accounts or listings that repeatedly break these guidelines get removed — not warned indefinitely. That's what keeps a badge meaning something instead of being decorative.
