Rural & Remote Health

Rural Multidisciplinary Allied Health Coordinator

Rural and remote communities often can't sustain a full-time physiotherapist, OT or speech pathologist on their own, so this role exists to stretch a small, often fly-in specialist workforce across a huge geographic footprint — coordinating FIFO clinician schedules, running telehealth clinics, and upskilling local generalist support workers to bridge the gaps between visits. The chronic shortage of rural allied health specialists is a well-documented, structural problem, not a scheduling inconvenience, and this role sits right in the middle of it.
