Rural & Remote Health

Regional Hub Care-Worker Coordinator

In regional home care, the map is the job — a single support worker's daily round might cover hundreds of kilometres between clients, and rostering has to account for real fuel costs, road conditions and burnout from hours spent driving rather than caring. This coordinator role manages that logistical load directly: building rosters that are actually achievable, supporting workers who are covering huge, isolating territories, and balancing client need against genuine travel-time constraints.
