About this event
The Tackling Stigma Conference, hosted by UNSW's Centre for Social Research in Health, brings researchers, clinicians, people with lived experience, policymakers and community representatives together at UNSW Sydney to address stigma as a barrier to healthcare through cross-cutting, interdisciplinary approaches. The program features international and domestic keynote speakers, including people with lived experience, concurrent themed sessions and an evening function, covering barriers to care, intersectional discrimination, stigma in healthcare settings, and strategies to reduce it.
